San Diego Education
Document Apostille
Services.

Educational documents often require special preparation before California can apostille them — and the procedures vary by institution. We help you get the document prepared correctly, then handle the California apostille.

Also assisting
community colleges.

Community colleges may have their own procedures for transcripts, registrar signatures and notarization. We research the issuing institution's process before telling you what to order or send. We don't create individual pages for every college unless there is genuinely distinct process information to share.

High school diplomas
& transcripts.

We assist with diplomas and transcripts from San Diego-area public and private high schools when they are eligible for apostille processing. We don't create individual pages for every high school — procedures may vary by school, district, document type, signature requirements and destination country.

Tell us the school and the destination, and we'll determine the preparation required before the document reaches the apostille stage.

Why education
documents need
extra steps.

Why education documents may need notarization

An apostille authenticates the signature of a recognized public official. A registrar's signature usually needs to be notarized (or certified) before the California Secretary of State will issue an apostille. Each school handles this differently.

Why a PDF or electronic transcript may not be sufficient

Many destinations require an original ink-signed paper document. An electronic transcript often can't be notarized in the form an apostille requires. A transcript already produced through a platform like Parchment, or already in your possession, may not qualify for a school's notarization process.

Why document preparation matters

Submitting the wrong document format wastes time and money. Getting the preparation right — before anything reaches the Secretary of State — is what we coordinate.
