Rush Apostille Service.
For eligible time-sensitive documents, dedicated in-person processing may be available. We assess eligibility and availability before you commit, and we're clear about what rush can and cannot guarantee.
The document,
explained.
What is this document?
Rush apostille service is dedicated in-person processing for an eligible California document on a firm deadline — a travel, visa, employment or enrollment date. It's a processing path, not a guarantee of a specific outcome or timeline.
Does it need notarization or certification first?
Rush doesn't change what a document needs. If the document requires notarization or certification first, that step still has to happen before the apostille. Rush applies to the California Secretary of State submission stage once the document is ready. We confirm the document is eligible before discussing rush.
What needs to
be ready first.
- Tell us your firm deadline and what the document is.
- We assess whether the document is eligible for rush and whether rush availability exists.
- If the document needs notarization or certification first, that must be completed before rush submission.
- We're upfront about what rush can and cannot guarantee before you commit.

We assess eligibility and availability
We determine whether the document is eligible for rush and whether dedicated in-person processing is available.
Document preparation

Dedicated in-person processing
We submit the eligible document for dedicated in-person processing at the California Secretary of State.
Track & return
Completed documents return via the expedited delivery method you select.
Processing times depend on the California Secretary of State, the issuing authority, and the document type. We don't imply guaranteed timelines. Rush options exist for eligible documents when availability allows. See the full process →
