Power of Attorney Apostille.

A power of attorney notarized by a California notary public can be apostilled for international use. Because destinations often require specific notarial wording, we confirm the notarization matches what the receiving country expects before submission.

The document, explained.

What is this document?

A power of attorney is a legal instrument authorizing someone to act on another's behalf. For apostille, it must be notarized by a California notary public so the California Secretary of State can authenticate the notary's signature.

Does it need notarization or certification first?

Yes — a power of attorney must be notarized by a California notary before it can be apostilled. The critical detail is that many destinations require specific notarial wording (for example, a particular acknowledgment format). We help confirm the notarization matches the destination's requirements so the apostille is accepted.
